Audiences
The Audience feature allows you to brand and target courses to specific clients or sections of your business or student/trainee base. Simply create an Audience, tell it which domains to deliver the courses to the end user on and which brand to use.
How SKILLBASE™ Works
Creating courses is a simple process of building your Content and Questions, putting them together in a Form and adding the Form to a Course Step. Use the links on the left of this page to see descriptions of each of those steps.
As well as the fundamentals of the Learning Content Management System (LCMS) SKILLBASE™ has many other tools designed to help you deliver your courses and manage the workflow of completed courses.
Audit Trail
One of the fundamental attributes of SKILLBASE™ is its robust versioning engine and audit trail. These combine to make managing many different versions of Content, Questions, Forms etc a snap while maintaining the ability to see any data no matter how old it might be - right down to the exact Answer Options (which can be randomised) that were displayed in a question completed years ago.
Invoicing
For those who create courses that must be paid for, either individually or in bulk, the system includes a comprehensive invoicing system.
If you sell courses to companies (who then distribute them to their staff or students) you can create customer records and bill them through the system. This automatically crates course keys they can deliver to their staff or students allowing them through the course without requiring payment.
In cases where you are selling courses to the public you can incorporate the payment step as part of the course. This is linked seamlessly into your company bank account so students can move through the course uninterrupted.
Configuration Groups
Many elements in the system use Configuration Groups to group together Content, Questions, Forms etc. that are all related. Elements can belong to more than one Configuration Group and most lists include filters for Configurations Groups making finding the building blocks of your courses easy to find. Questions also use Configuration Groups to create Question Pools from which Dynamic Forms select their Questions from.
